Coffs to host Telstra SAP Gala Day Weekend

May 30th, 2017

The C.ex International Stadium will host the Telstra SAP Country Gala Day’s for 10 -12 years boys and 12 – 14 girls in Coffs Harbour this weekend.

The Telstra SAP Country Gala Days are held each month in Coffs Harbour to give players the opportunity to test themselves and Regional Technical Directors to assess their players individually as well as a team.

There will be over 260 players consisting of 21 teams from North Coast Football, Northern Inland Football and Football Mid North Coast.

Male and female players will be divided into three age groups where they will take part in development based games against each other.

Northern NSW Football Technical Director, Michael Browne, says the Gala Days are a valuable element of the program.

“These Gala Days are a valuable element of our program as it assesses not only the players but the coaches as well to determine if the skill acquisition phase is being applied properly that will give the players a seamless transition into the Game Training Phase,” Browne said.
