Northern Inland Football (NIF) is one of seven Member Zones within the State boundaries of Northern NSW Football (NNSWF).
It is, geographically, the largest zone in NNSWF covering an area from Quirindi in the south, up to Tenterfield in the north and out west to Coonabarabran, Moree and Lightning Ridge.
The NIF zone was formed in 2005 with the amalgamation of the North West Soccer Association and the New England Soccer Association.
NIF has a strong membership that includes some 31 Clubs or Associations, 1 branch of Referees Associations and a player base of approximately 6,100 registered players across the region.
Junior competitions are conducted across the region in all of the major centres involving around 4800 junior players aged 5 to 18 yrs. The North and South conduct the largest junior competitions in all age divisions, both non-competitive and competitive.
