FFA Cup Round 2: NNSWF Northern Conference Commences This Weekend

The FFA Cup is a national knockout tournament run by Football Federation Australia in conjunction with every State and Territory Member Federation in the country.

The competition commences with the Preliminary Rounds before moving into the Final Rounds (from the Round of 32 onwards), the stage when the 10 Hyundai A-League clubs join the fray.

Northern NSW Football and its Member Zones have participated in the prestigious competition since 2014 when it began nationally and have maintained 2 spots in the Round of 32 throughout.

Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) FFA Cup fixtures will get underway on 22 February 2020 with the Northern Conference Round 2 fixtures scheduled to take place this weekend.

This initial preliminary round in NNSWF’s campaign will see 13 byes. However, there will be three fantastic matches played out over two days with the action beginning at 4:00pm on Saturday 22 February as Coffs Coast Tigers FC line-up against Kempsey Saints FC at Verge Street, Kempsey.

The fixtures will continue on Sunday 23 February at 1:00pm with TAS FC to host Camden Haven Redbacks FC at Doody Oval, Armidale while Richmond Rovers FC face off against Grafton United FC at Nielson Park, East Lismore – set for a 3:00pm kick-off.

The NNSWF Southern Conference will commence games on the weekend ending Sunday 29 March.

Coffs Coast Tigers FC v Kempsey Saints FC – 4:00pm – Verge Street, Kempsey

Lismore Richmond Rovers FC v Grafton United FC – 3:00pm – Nielson Park, East Lismore
