Summer ALDI MiniRoos Kick-off Programs to launch across Northern NSW

October 2nd, 2019

This summer there are 25 ALDI MiniRoos Kick-Off Sites running throughout Northern NSW Football (NNSWF), including two (2) in Northern Inland Football, developed in line with the philosophy of sport participation.

NNSWF’s ALDI MiniRoos Kick-Off for Girls and Mixed Summer Programs commence from Monday 21  October and conclude the week of Monday 9 December 2019.

Northern Inland Football will be hosting two (2) ALDI MiniRoos Kick-Off for Girls Programs in Armidale on Monday’s at the Rologas Sporting Fields and in Tamworth on Tuesday’s at Viaduct Park.

This program is designed to suit new participants to the game, as it provides participants to be involved in a fun and inclusive environment as well as providing more opportunities to play football.

Benefits of ALDI MiniRoos Kick-Off include:

> Fun, football game-based sessions that build fundamental motor skills;

> Non-competitive activities to improve confidence and self-esteem

> Low participant-to-coach ratio resulting in greater individual engagement;

> Experience the football basics in a safe and supportive environment.

The program will run for 45 minutes for 8 weeks during Term 4 with each session consisting of a 30-minute skills session and a 15-minute game.

The program is split into two age groups with session plans for players aged between 4-7 years and 8-9 years.

Each participant who registers for the program receives a Participant Pack, containing a boot bag, ball, drink bottle, shin pads and Hyundai A-League/Westfield W-League sticker sheet.

Participants are also able to purchase a limited edition Kick-Off for Girls shirt for an extra $20.

NNSWF encourages participants to purchase their shirt online when registering as there is limited stock available.
